Priming Dance was founded by Pragya Kumar in 2019. We have three branches in Delhi, Chandigarh and Aurangabad.

The teachers at Priming Dance have trained in Ballet, Kathak, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Bollywood and Indian folk forms.

Our Team

Pragya has trained extensively in Vaganova Ballet technique,  Modern dance and Jazz. She has been taught by by Elena Chebotar, Johannes Bonig, Skylar Brandt, Valeria, Giohvanna and other great artists who have performed and taught in leading dance theatres and dance companies of the world. She has trained and taught in some leading dance schools in Delhi. She is the head faculty for Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary at Priming Dance.

Jatinder is our Head Faculty for Kathak. She is a Praveen in Kathak and has completed her Masters degree in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. She has an experience of fifteen years in performance and teaching. She belongs to Jaipur Gharana of Kathak and her mentor is Shri Deepak Aurora Ji. Deepak sir is a direct disciple of Guru Shri Rajendra Gangani Ji ( Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from APJ Abdul Kalam Azad)  well known for his innovative style and technical wizardry. 

Varun Khanna  is our Head Faculty for Bharatnatyam. He is trained under the tutelage of legendary gurus, Padma Bhushan awardee Guru Dr. Saroja  Vaidyanathan and Mrs. Rama Vaidyanathan. He has performed in various notable events and festivals like the National Classical Dance Festival, World Art Festival, Ramamoorthy Bhagvatar Festival, Shivvarghya. He has also been featured in music videos and theatre dramas and a short film which premiered at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2022.

Amol excels at Bollywood and Hip-Hop. He has trained with V Company in Virar, new Mumbai. V Company was started by Vernon from Suresh(Kings United) and Vernon group.
